Thank you for your interest in Northern Arizona University.

At NAU, we are committed to helping you achieve your educational goals. Through online and in-person classes throughout Arizona, NAU offers flexible and convenient degree, certificate, and endorsement programs.  These options provide students with an alternative to the traditional campus experience.

NAU has a long-standing history of incorporating the latest technologies to deliver programs.  Our programs are designed to meet the demands of today's competitive work environment across a variety of disciplines including Education, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Health Professions, Engineering, Fine Arts, and Hotel & Restaurant Management.

To complement our programs and better assist our students, we offer a wide range of support services. There are online resources to help students get information quickly. Students can request information, complete the online application process, enroll in classes, and more - all via the web. For more personalized attention, students in Arizona can visit one of more than 30 campuses around the state for a broad range of support.  Students anywhere in the world can take advantage of our academic advising services, or simply speak with our Student Service Center to get help with most issues.

The world is changing - and so is education. NAU has been providing higher education learning opportunities to students at a distance for over 25 years. While we are proud of our history, we realize we must continually evolve to meet the needs of our students by providing robust educational programs, delivery options, student support services, and resources that will prepare them to meet the challenges of working in a global economy.

Events & Deadlines

  • 05/28 : MEMORIAL DAY - UNIVERSITY CLOSED
  • 07/04 : INDEPENDENCE DAY- UNIVERSITY CLOSED
  • 08/20 : Fall 2012 Payment Deadline - 4:30 p.m.   Tuition is due for all students enrolled prior to this date.  Students may choose to enroll in the Tuition Payment Plan ($85 fee).  After this date, students with a balance of $500 or more will automatically be enrolled in the tuition payment plan ($125 fee).  See details at (http://home.nau.edu/bursar/tuitionpayment.asp)
  • 09/03 : LABOR DAY - UNIVERSITY CLOSED
  • 11/12 : VETERAN'S DAY - UNIVERSITY CLOSED
