If you’re in the field or want to be, you know that surgical technology is one of the most exciting careers out there. Do you want to earn your bachelor’s degree while continuing to work? Note: To be eligible for this academic plan, students must be admitted to, enrolled in, or be graduates from an associate degree program at a regionally accredited community college or university in an allied health discipline.


Basic requirements for the Health Sciences - Surgical Technology (BS) degree

Liberal Studies (35 units)
Health Sciences Core (27 units)
Associate of Applied Science Curriculum Emphasis in Surgical Technology (60 units)
Diversity Requirement (These courses may be used to meet other requirements in your academic plan) (6 units)
Electives to reach 120 credits
