Are you a community college associate degree graduate or will be soon? Do you want to obtain the skills necessary for managerial positions in both private and public emergency services departments? The B.A.S. degree builds on your associate degree to give you both general management and communication knowledge as well as more specialized skills in emergency services administration. This program provides you with the education and skills to enter into, or seek promotion within, careers in government, private, or public agencies whose focus is on public service. You will take courses designed to help you acquire a general knowledge of management, organizational, and policy issues while advancing your professional communication, computer, and quantitative skills.



Basic requirements for the Emergency Services Administration (BAS) degree

Liberal Studies (35 units)
Emergency Services Administration Specialization (24 units)
BAS Requirements (15 units)
Diversity Requirement (These courses may be used to meet other requirements in your academic plan) (6 units)
