B.A.S. Emergency Services Administration

The Bachelor of Applied Science specializing in Public Agency Service is designed to provide the education and skills to enter into or seek promotion within careers in government, private, or public agencies whose focus is on public service. Within this program, you focus on Emergency Services Administration by taking courses that are designed to help you acquire a general knowledge of management, organizational, and policy issues while advancing your professional communication, computer, and quantitative skills. To specialize in Emergency Services Administration, you choose from courses such as: Politics and Organizations, Budgeting, Leadership, and Conflict Management. You also complete 21 units/hours in four areas: communication, public administration and management, technical and quantitative, and values, ethics and policy.


This degree program is also available as a BS (Bachelor of Science) in Interdisciplinary Studies or BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Interdisciplinary Studies. An advisor can help you determine which is best for you.
