Application Deadlines

Applying for admission to NAU early allows you to be best prepared to start classes in the upcoming term.  Check with your advisor to determine if the degree program you are interested in pursuing requires an additional application for admission along with your application to NAU. 

Enrollment for terms generally follows the timelines below.  Note that classes begin throughout the term.  So apply as soon as you are ready and work with an advisor to find classes that will meet your needs.

Spring enrollment generally starts in November.  Classes begin in January.

Summer enrollment begins in March.  Classes begin in May.

Fall enrollment begins in April. Classes begin in August.

Winter enrollment opens in September.  Classes begin in December.

Check the calendar and stay on top of the deadlines that apply to you. To preserve your seat in class and avoid late fees or additional paperwork, plan to enroll and pay early.
